Our guest speaker on Thursday, February 28 was Lima Sarhadi.

For those of you at that noon meeting, you learned about Lima, who moved to the United States from a war torn Afghanistan when she was only 13 years old, without her parents, to make a life here in the U.S. Lima is now a striving and succeeding student at UWBC with future plans to gain an education and then to return to her native Afghanistan to do good for her country.

Those of us at her presentation were so impressed with her courage, sincerity, charisma, and positive attitude that we feel we must do something to support Lima.  She has a goal to raise $2600 for next year's tuition as an out-of-state student. If you were not able to make a donation to this cause, you will have another opportunity to do so tomorrow.

Please bring some $$ CASH $$ with you tomorrow for this very worthwhile cause, and, be generous; your contributions are going to help a young woman who is going to make a big difference in "her world".
